Velo Orange will be exhibiting at Interbike, in Las Vegas NV. This year, we have seriously upgraded our presence. We traded in the 20x20" American Tourister 'booth' for a 20x20' peninsula location. You can find us at booth 1531, near the Raleigh mega-plex, Niterider, and Deda Elementi. There was a bit of last minute Tetris done by Interbike staff to get much better placement. Our location is not accurate on the printed guides Interbike hands you, but the online map is updated and accurate.
Please stop by to meet Chris, Perry, Robert and Tom. We will have all things VO on display, some hard to find products from Honjo, Dia-Compe, and Viva bells too. There will be some Velo Orange prototypes and production samples to show off, our first printed catalogue with the 2011 price list, and hopefully, some Really Big News.
In the mean time, there is other news to announce. Since February, we have been designing a new website on a completely different platform. No more Yahoo template pages or a separate wholesale side that is not connected in any way. Velo Orange and VO Imports will be merged into one unified site. Inventory will be shared between both online stores with more logical navigation, better quality product photos, and a greater depth of information. The dealer side is still password protected; all pricing and shipping terms remain the same.
We plan to make the switch just after Interbike. At noon on Monday September 27th we will stop all new orders from both URLs. We will re-direct the VO Imports site Tuesday morning. Dealers will have first crack at the new layout and ordering process. Note- we expect to have some issues- that's why we are working with a smaller pool of users. The retail site will be made public only after we have the bugs worked out, ideally Sept 28th.
A lot of stuff is in the works. See you in Vegas!
